Amanda Gonzalez was born in California and raised in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. Early on her mother encouraged drawing, photography, and instilled a sense of joy in the arts while her father helped to cultivate an appreciation of nature through camping, hiking and travel. The culmination of these influences engendered a diverse sense of appreciation and interests which has led Amanda to over 2 decades of photography work, multiple illustration-based projects, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology. In her work the effects of these influences can be seen, intertwined with elements of the divine feminine, impressionism, and narrative design.
